Gold foil green oval bead measuring 12x15mm. The beading hole is about 1mm. This bead has a white glass core decorated with gold foil and encased in clear green glass.

This colourway reminds me of peacocks. The beads are nothing like the Victorian Peacock eye beads sought by collectors such as Diane Fitzgerald. But these beads with little blue "eyes" dancing among feathery gold lines on a peridot base, are surely more deserving of the name than the modern peacock eye effect beads.
